Landon had to be on his usual government flight, so Urban and I had to take a separate flight, but if we're sticking to the theme of skipping long stories I'll just say we all made it there eventually :)
Landon also had a packed agenda for the duration of the trip, so we got up super early our first morning there (6:30am DC time, which was 3:30am phoenix time) and ran around downtown in the FREEZING cold. Amazingly, we were able to see just about everything in about an hour and a half. Plus we had the places all to ourselves besides all of the joggers.
The rest of the time Urban and I mastered the Metro system and explored the Smithsonian by ourselves. He loved all of the steps into the museums, and I loved that it warmed up during the day.
We ended up with 140 pictures, so I'm pretty proud of myself for narrowing them down. If the layout looks all too familiar, it's because I'm too lazy to come up with something else right now. OR we can just call it our "Coast to Coast in 1 month" album. Ooooh, I like it! Let's go with that :)

This has also got me to thinking that we seem to travel alot...and I couldn't do it with any other kid but Urban. He is such a great traveler. I was laughing my head off this time at airport security when he jumped out of his stroller and willingly threw his puppy and blanky onto the security scanner. haha. And he did WAY better than me on the 5 hour and 20 minute flight home. Man was I sick and irritated, and he was calm and collected the entire time. My little Angel.
